I am an 18 year old exchange student in Okayama, Japan. I have been in Japan since January of 1999, but will be returning home to Australia in January of 2000. I hobbies include karate, playing guitar, writing letters, and speaking to people from all over the world. I`ve been doing karate for 13 years and planning to continue training for years to come. Since I was in Japan, I had the chance to train under traditional style, and let me tell you, it`s VERY different from how we train in Australia. I`ve been playing guitar for two years now, and trying to get a band going. How good am I, well on a scale from 1 to 10, I`ll say I`m still on 1. I`m not so good because I can cover other bands and peoples music, but I can`t write my own music no matter how hard I try. But anyway, I still enjoy playing other peoples music, especially Metallca, Megadeth and Led Zeppelin. I was influenced by Metallica. I am linguist. I can speak English, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Japanese. I think it is important to know a lot of languages. Not only is it important, but it`s also a lot of fun as it enables one to communicate to different people all over the world. I have a lot of pen-pals from all over the world who I have met through the internet, including friends from Korea, Canada, America, Brazil, Spain, Sweden and many more. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
